Springing into Spring!

Hello my lovelies! I have returned. I most definitely need to be more consistent with my posts, but as I have said a million bazillion times before, I have a very busy life with college and study and just bleeehhhh. But the sun was gorgeous yesterday, and my outfit was kinda cute, so hey, why not take a few minutes out and have a little photoshoot? And I am so glad I did!

The weather is warming up, the sun is getting brighter, the days are getting longer and its getting that bit closer to summer! I could actually wear a skirt and tights and my legs didn't freeze off. And I was even to take off my jacket.

Speaking of my jacket and my skirt, I should probably mention where I got them from. The skirt was bought in the winter sale in H&M for €5, I am one for bargain hunting, the jacket is from Zara and I am not sure how much it was because it was a Christmas present from my parents. The jumper is from Penneys/Primark and is from a while back so I dont remember how much it was, and the collared shirt is also from Penneys/Primark!

Hopefully the weather will just keep getting better. Its so weird cos it was snowing a week ago and then we had a really warm weekend and the weather is bipolar its just so weird . So yeah! I am so excited for spring/summer fashion!

Anyhoo, tata for now! Stay tuned! I will probs not post for a couple of weeks, but just yeah stay tuned!
Thanks guys!

Mixi-ing it Up.

So as you all know I have been in the Middle East for the past 2 weeks and I am finally home! It was so hard to post anything because 1)we only really had wifi in starbucks and 2) I found it really hard to find the time to take any photos! My parents had us constantly on the move in the mornings and evenings and during the day my sister and I would usually relax by the pool.

But anyways! I have mentioned in a previous post that in Middle Eastern countries it is respectful to cover up a lot. So when I was packing I had no idea what to bring because its too hot for long trousers, disrespectful to wear shorts. So for the one of the evenings, I decided to pull out an old mixi dress that I bought for my holidays in Spain 2 years ago when everybody was wearing mixi skirts and dresses.

I forgot how much I loved this dress. Its super light, which is good because its always well above 30 degrees celsius, the colour is beautiful and it was perfect for the culture over there. When I went out I paired it with one of my fav kimonos from New Look, a brown tassel bag which belongs to my sister and some strappy wedge heels from Next. I thought I looked quite nice and I really loved this outfit and felt comfortable wearing it!

Once again sorry pics aren't the best. I think I am going to have to invest in a new camera and a tripod or something. Once I get a job, which is impossible to find one. But one day! Or I may have to steal my boyfriends camera... bahaha!

Anyhoo, hope you enjoyed this post. Going to post again later because I missed out for so long!
Thanks!

Festival Fashion Combos!

Hello! So yesterday I went to see Arctic Monkeys in Marlay Park in Dublin and they were amaaazinggg!! Special guests were Royal Blood, Miles Kane and Jake Bugg! The whole day was amazing, and surprisingly, I enjoyed the little showers throughout the day because it was just so hot!

But anyways! The day before, I wanted to see what I was going to wear so while I was deciding, I decided to take a few pics and make up some festival fashion combos! I didn't really do accessories because there were so many outfits, but these are the outfits that I liked the most! I have my DIY tops in there somewhere and if there is anything you want to know where I bought it, don't be afraid to ask! Also want to apologise as I am not the most photogenic and my bedroom isn't exactly a great background but I tried my best!

Next week I am going to Longitude music festival so I will post next week what I wore to that and what I decided to wear to Arctic Monkeys!

OH forgot to mention I was already tanned but I put a light layer of COCOA BROWN TANNING MOUSSE on!! I love this tan and I think it is so perfect for the summer months!

Hope you're all enjoying the festival season and I hope to be back soon with more posts!
Thanks!
