My Life in Pictures

Hello my lovely followers! I have to once again apologise for being inactive. I have never been this busy in my life! I have a few posts awaiting to be posted, but I have been way too busy I can't seem to find the time to post them!! I started my first week in college, I moved into a new home, I have been rehearsing for a musical called 'Kiss Me, Kate' which runs through next week, and as well as that I have been saying goodbye to friends and family moving away, trying to run my life and get 3 meals a day into me (which is not that easy when you're in college all day then straight into rehearsals afterwards!!).

So anyways, I thought I would show you some pictures of what I have been up to. I have been attending going away parties dressed as an Indian, going on de-stressing walks, celebrating my sisters 14th birthday (which inconveniently falls on 911), celebrating my friends 20th and many many many other things! I have been so busy. I'm finding it hard to look after myself at the minute! I constantly feel like a sim when their bars are completely low and they stand there crying with their head in their hands in a puddle of their own pee. Okay, so I am not that bad you get the picture!

I intend on posting pictures of my new room, a makeup look and a few other things over the next while if I get the time! Sorry for being so inactive! Let me know what I can do to make it up to you guys! Also thanks so much for staying with me, I nearly have 30k views on my google+ so thank you so much!

Anyways I must catch some z's or I'll be exhausted for my shows which are on next week! Thanks again guys,

My New Bedroom

Hello my lovelies! Just a quick post to say I HAVE MOVED INTO MY NEW HOME! I am settled in and my room is organised and I am really enjoying my new independence. I took a photo of my new room as you can see above and I am hoping to take some more photos one of the days to show you guys. What do you think? Would you like to see more photos?

So I put this photo up on instagram and it got featured on an account called 'roomforgirl'. It basically posts pics of instagrammers bedrooms to give other instagrammers inspiration for their bedrooms. And oh my gosh, they featured me on their page!! The photo has over 3k likes!!! The most likes I have has probs been about 75!!! So I was over the moon! I was so happy to see that so many people liked my bedroom and felt inspired enough to like the photo and ask me questions about my room. It really shows that the hard work, time and dedication put into something can pay off.

So anyhow, please check out my photo here and like away!! Don't forget to follow! I changed my instagram username to 'little.miss.lulu' so please give me a follow! I wanted it to match with my blog!

Thanks again and can't wait to show you the rest of my room!

Little Penneys Shopping Haul

Hello my dears! I am so sorry I haven't blogged in forever! I feel like I keep saying this lately but I am just so unbelievably busy at the minute! I just moved into my new place, I am starting university next Wednesday, I have 3 dance rehearsals a week for an upcoming musical and the list goes on! A few weeks back I bought a couple of bits in Primark/Penneys for moving in to my new home.

As you can see, I like pugs. Like I really love pugs! So I got a cute little pug on a mug for €2 and the tea towel was €1.50. They have loads of other things in with pugs on them but that was enough for me in one day! I also bought myself a pack of 3 pairs of tights for about €4? As you know ''Fall'' has arrived and its a bit too cold to be showing the legs off! So if you reaaaaallllyyy have to, just shtick a pair of tights on be grand. And you can never have enough pairs of tights with the constant laddering and random holes appearing... The next thing I got was a chunky, fluffy, cosy dressing gown. I usually just wear my boyfriends hoodies in winter, but I saw this for €10 and I couldn't not get it! It's going to get freezing in winter so I am sure this beautiful dressing gown will keep me warm. The last thing I got in Penneys was FINALLY the Garnier Micellar Cleansing Water. I got it for €3.50 and am not going to say any more on it because I want to do a review on it as soon as I have used it a good few times. But so far, so amazing.

In the photo there is also a yellow top! I didn't get this in Penneys and completely forgot it was there! But anyways! I got it in New Look for €11.99! I have been looking for a yellow top for ages and have never found the perfect one! I saw one in H&M in Oman but it was too expensive for what it was so now I am so glad to have found the perfect one! Now what to pair it with...

So anyhow! That was my quick little shopping haul! I have so much stuff to do but I will try and be back as frequently as I can. Thanks for sticking with me!

Roses are Red, Violets are Blue

Hello my lovelies! So sorry it's been a while since I posted, I was in the UK and forgot my laptop and there was a loss in the family and we were at a wedding and I am just super busy at the minute. But I have a nice little post here from the wedding that I was at. Its just an outfit post of what I wore to the wedding. It was a beautiful, warm day in Leeds in the UK and just perfect for a wedding. Surprisingly, this was the first wedding I have ever been to! I wasn't really sure what to wear so this is what I came up with!

The dress is a little strapless dress that I bought in a boutique years ago. It literally says 'Blue' on the  label so to be honest I am not sure what brand or anything it is!

The blazer is shockingly from Primark/Penneys! The day before we left to go to the UK for the wedding I spent my whole day looking for a blazer or jacket that's smart for a wedding but also matches my outfit, of course! And I was just picking up a few bits (spoiler: little penneys haul coming soon) and I found this just on it's own somewhere :P I bought the blazer for €16. It was such a good price for a good quality blazer that looks nice too!!

I'm not going to say much on the bag and shoes because I have a blog post from my graduation talking about them! But the bag is from Baratts and the shoes are Guess. The pink embellished pumps are my sisters and are from New Look.

Thanks for reading this post guys, I have a few more coming but with everything being so busy not sure when i'll have time to put them up.

Thanks again!

Gluten Free Cinnamon Cookies!

Autumn is by far my favourite season of the year (or for other countries, 'Fall' lol). And I feel like the best way to kick off the Autumn season is to bake something with cinnamon in it. The house just feels so warm and cosy with the smell of freshly baked goods and cinnamon lingering in the air. So I thought it would be a nice idea to do a quick little recipe for you guys. Enjoy!

Ingredients:
- 3oz margarine
- 2 teaspoons of vanilla essence
- 5oz gluten free flour
- 5oz sugar
- 1 tablespoon of ground cinnamon
- 2 egg yolks
- a dribble of milk
- a little bit of olive oil
- a little bit of flour to roll out pastry
- a sprinkle of sugar at the end to decorate

Method: PREHEAT OVEN TO 150 DEGREES CELSIUS

1) Put margarine, vanilla essence, flour, sugar, cinnamon and egg yolks into a large mixing bowl.  I used a hand whisk to blend everything together in the bowl until the mixture formed into a ball. You can also use a bit of milk to help the mixture stick together.

2) Sprinkle some flour onto a clean surface and place the dough ball onto the surface. Knead it for a bit and then roll it out into a thick slab.

3) Once you have the thickness you want, use a cookie cutter and cut into shapes that you want. Line a baking tray with baking paper and place cookies onto the tray.

4) Brush the tops of the cookies with olive oil and put in the oven for 15/20 mins. Whenever they start to turn golden.

5) Once they're out of the oven, sprinkle with sugar and cool down on the tray. Enjoy!

Hope you guys enjoyed this little post! I have a lot going on with results from my exams and college offers! Hope you enjoyed this.

Thanks
Lucy xo
