Closet Confidential!

So this is a little post that I found on someones blog ages ago (sorry I forget who's blog it was!). But anyhow! Say hello to the worlds crappiest photos, but you can't say I didn't try!! :D This was actually quite fun to do because I got to look through my wardrobe and SEE what clothes I have, because sometimes you just get so used to wearing the same pair of jeans and your favourite knitted jumper that you just forget what else is in there!

What is the oldest item you have in your wardrobe/ closet?

The oldest thing I own is a top that my mum kept from when she was younger. It has a halter neck and really long ties at the back, with tassels on the ends. Very 80s, can't you tell! I haven't actually worn it out yet cos I am not sure what to pair it with!! And also because this is a vintage top and very different in style, I would need a bit of confidence to show this vintage item off!!

What is the newest?

I literally just bought this top for about €17 in New Look and I wore it out last Thursday. I love it so so so much! The shape is really flattering for most figures and the colour is one of my favourites at the minute and matches perfectly with my Kate Moss lipstick!! I wore this out with a pair of black jeans and black lace up heeled ankle boots on Thursday and it looked amazing. Pffft I looked amazing! Just kidding. But I really do love this top and I cannot wait to wear it out again!!

What is the most expensive?

I am not one for buying expensive clothes, but this was one of those things I had to have. Its my cropped leather jacket from Topshop which I actually got for my 16th birthday. It was just under €100 and I saw it in the store, bragged to my mum about how much I loved it and she got it for me for my birthday! I wear this with everything. It always manages to make my outfit look edgy and cool, expensive too! Its so nice to wear even with something girly to make it seem a bit edgier! So yeah I love my expensive, topshop leather jacket. Thanks mum!

Whats the cheapest/ most affordable item? (that you wear/ use a lot!)

I love love love this jacket! I bought it on sale in Forever 21 for €10. TEN EURO ERMAGERDDDDD. But yeah. Its cool. The colour is gorgeous and this also is another jacket that spices up any outfit. Its also really warm and cosy so perfect for the winter season!

What was the biggest bargain?

My disco ball dress, as I call it.  I bought this in a vintage flea market somewhere in Temple Bar for €15. The girl didn't want it anymore, I was looking for a sparkly dress and I was having trouble finding one for cheap anywhere else. So this definitely was the biggest bargain. The girl who sold it to me was telling me that she got it off of someone who dresses people for The Voice, and she told me the name of the girl who wore it in the promo photos but I forget.. Basically a singer from The Voice wore this exact dress previously. I love it!!!

Show us three favourite items right now!

I do not own the first one but I saw it in River Island and I love it but cannot afford it!! But I absolutely love this jacket.  I also love my red tartan skirt, €4 from Penneys and it looks really cute on! And finally my mint peplum top which I also bought on sale in Penneys for €5! I really like this, even though pastels dont suit me. The colour is cute and can be made look really nice with a chunky necklace and some nice jeans.

Show something you love but others hate!

I got these trousers in the middle east in H&M and I love them! But at first people are like meh they're not that nice, and then I put them on with some heels and a classy black top and they're like wow! They make an outfit look fun and can be dressed up to look smart or can be matched with a pop of colour. They also make your figure look great and I just really like these!

So overall, these are some of my fav things in my wardrobe at the minute and I thought it would be nice to share them with you. I am busy with exams next week, then its christmas week and I am going back to Oman in the Middle East to see my family, back for New Years.. So yes once again I am super busy but I will try my best to do a post. What would you like to see? A makeup look? Something Christmassy?? Let me know on blogger, instagram or twitter and hopefully I can do something you pick!!

Thanks for reading my pathetic post!!

Autumn Leaves

Hello my lovelies! So I promised a post this week and tada! Here it is :D I decided to do a fashion shoot this week because I have a week off and why not do something fun and adventurous. So I took a trip into Dublin City with my boyfriend and he took some really nice shots around the Temple Bar area and St. Stephens Green. The weather was a bit crappy but hey, it's Autumn, what do you expect?

Because it is Autumn, I tried to make my outfit warm and cosy, but pretty and stylish at the same time. Most of the things I am wearing are from my fav place, all totaaaalllyyy expensive and designer... They're from*drumroll* PENNEYS/PRIMARK! :D But they have an amazing collection in at the minute and all at amazing prices.

The coat is from... Penneys. I got this for Christmas last year and I think it was €30? It is the cosiest jacket/coat that I own. It keeps you warm, it's thick, the colour is trĂ©s cute and my favourite part about this military style jacket is the fur-lined hood. It is so cosy and serves well as a hat yet also protects you from the rain (and I know this because it rained on the day we took these photos!). So overall, I love this item and am so glad I got to share it with you all for this shoot.

Another item from Penneys is the tartan skirt. I paid €4 for it just at the beginning of Autumn and I am absolutely loving it. I wear it all the time to college and it's perfect no matter what weather because even on freezing mornings I have paired it with boots and thick tights and I am warm! I love the tartan trend at the minute and for only a couple of euro this is an Autumn must-have!

Next, the red knitted jumper is from New Look. This is one of my favourite jumpers because I love the colour, it's extremely comfortable and goes with just about anything! I bought this for about €14? It was so worth it because the quality is amazing and I wear it allllllll the time!

Last the little bits and bobs, the boots, socks and tights are all from Penneys and the bag is from Forever 21. I bought this bag when I was shopping with my Mum once because the one I was using at the time just decided to break while I was shopping, the bag strap came right off... So yeah I had to get a new bag and I am so glad I got this bag because I absolutely love it! A similar story happened with the boots actually! I had to walk 20 mins from the train station to blancharstown shopping centre  in the lashing rain and to make things worse the soles were coming off the top of my boots, so I had to buy new boots and socks so I ran into Penneys and bought these gorgeous chelsea boots! They were €15 and I love them!

So I hope you are all enjoying your midterm if you are having one and if not hope you're all having a good week! Hopefully I will do something Halloweeny this week or next week to go with one of my fav holidays!

Thanks guys!
Love,
